Terms of use
Last updated 27 October 2026.
Welcome to Travelers, a game by Pumpkin Ink Studio Pty Ltd (ACN 703 585 719: "we" and "us" in these terms). By playing, you agree to these terms. They're short, and they're about keeping the game fun and safe for everyone.
Who can play
Travelers is for people aged 13 and over. If you're under 18, check these terms with a parent or guardian.
The game
- Travelers is free to play. Coins, energy, clothes and everything else in the game are part of the game: they have no value outside it and can't be swapped for money.
- In the App Store and Google Play apps you can buy packs of coins (always the same number of coins for a pack: nothing is left to chance). Apple or Google take the payment under their own terms, and refunds go through them. Coins you buy are added to your journey and kept with it: on your device, and online too if you sign in. If you delete the game without signing in, your journey, and the coins in it, are gone. If you start the journey again, the coins you bought come with you (as many as you still have).
- Some places in the game are real (towns, streets, landmarks) and some names are real; the people and almost all the businesses are made up, and nothing in the game is endorsed by any real person, place or business. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
- The billboards can show ads from real businesses that pay to be there (sponsors), always marked "Ad". We check them before they go up, but what a sponsor offers, and anything you do with them outside the game, is between you and them.
- Each town has a made-up mayor (not the town's real council). Now and then a mayor changes something in their town for a few days, like a sale in the shops, a bonus for jobs or cheaper tickets into town, always with its dates, and it ends by itself. Their ideas are suggested with the help of an AI and checked by us before anything changes. A shift you've started, a bed you've booked or a ticket you've bought keeps its price. Sponsors can't pay for anything a mayor does.
- We keep improving the game: things in it may change, move or stop. We'll try to keep your journey safe through changes, but we can't promise nothing will ever be lost.
Playing with others
When you play together, chat, message your friends or paint for the gallery, be kind. Don't:
- bully, threaten, harass or hurt anyone, or try to;
- post anything hateful, sexual, violent, illegal or that isn't yours to share;
- share personal details (yours or anyone else's): addresses, phone numbers, schools, social media;
- pretend to be someone else, spam, or try to break, cheat or overload the game or its server.
Report anyone who does (and block them). We may remove anything that breaks these rules, and stop anyone from playing together or painting, without warning.
What you make
Your paintings, chat and messages are yours. By sending a painting to the gallery, you let us show it in the game to everyone (on the town's gallery wall and its billboards), for as long as it's up, and to use pictures of the game that include it to show what the game is like.
Our responsibility
We make the game with care, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always work or be free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from playing it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.
Ending
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time (here's how). We may stop anyone from playing who breaks these terms.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of South Australia, Australia.
